Sora La

A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Theatre and Speech Arts, Sora La also obtained his teaching qualification and currently teaches artistic humanities at the Conservatoire de Namur.

A multidisciplinary artist, he develops work combining theatre, music, and writing. He also pursued studies in architecture, which inform his attention to stage space and scenography. At the same time, he practiced dance and joined the companies New Studio Jam and Final Fx, performing in several productions—an experience that deepened his relationship to the body and to the stage.

Alongside his theatrical work, he develops his musical project Toutes Ces Voix – Part I, which he regularly performs on stage. He notably appeared as an opening act for Julien Doré at the Théâtre Royal de Mons. He was later selected by RTBF Musiq3 and Kiosk for his musical interpretation of “Cet Amour” by Jacques Prévert.

He has also performed leading roles in several short films, including Au premier regard by Julien Quoirin, Hitman by Salim Mitari, Café serré by Pierre Courtejoie and Jacques Andrien, Contempo by Petko, and Possession by Matteo Vangeebergen. He also lent his voice to the role of the son in Le Lac Olivâtre for the children’s label Le Temps d’une histoire.

On stage, he has notably appeared in La Comtesse d’Escarbagnas by Molière, playing the roles of the Count and Criquet. He also performed in Impérator with the Brouhaha company in the style of Commedia dell’Arte, as well as in several other projects. He also created a musical work based on Paroles by Jacques Prévert, which he performed at the Midi de la Poésie and at the Théâtre Le Fou Rire.
