Sixtine Gignoux

Hi ! My name is Sistine. I have been an actress for 10 years. I recently played in the TV show Broute (Canal +), in the film “Please Excuse Us for the Occasional Inconvenience” by Belgian Olivier Van Hoofstadt and in “Gladiator 2” by Ridley Scott as the concubine of Tim Mc Innerny. In addition to acting, I am passionate about horse riding and yoga. And I practice ballet. I did 9 years of piano and I can sing (mezzo-soprano). I speak English fluently following numerous stays in the United States. I speak Spanish well, and I have been learning Italian for 3 years. In this job, I like being able to embody characters with lives that are very different from mine but also who resemble me. Going deep into the psychology of these characters while using my emotional sensitivity. But what I love about cinema is its unifying power among a large audience. I find it wonderful that a movie can “speak” to thousands of people regardless of their status, their backgrounds, their political or religious ideas. That these people can vibrate at the same moment, transcend their ego for even an hour while looking at an artistic work that touches them, and feel united with humanity, this is the reason that gives meaning to what I do.
