Simon Vandemaelen

I'm a Belgian actor, based between Paris and Belgium.
 I act, write, direct, and stage — but acting remains my anchor. I love diving into unique worlds, exploring complex characters, and working with directors who bring a clear vision and a personal lens on the world.

I’m drawn to sets where the work is demanding, precise, and deeply human.

Alongside acting, I write and develop my own projects, which allows me to fully explore a point of view, a cinematic desire. This dual perspective gives me a complementary eye on set, and a strong sense of listening in collective work.

I speak French, English, and Flemish.
