About me

Sara Yigin is a German actress born and raised in Ulm, Germany, in a multilingual household with Czech and Turkish heritage. Growing up in a richly multicultural environment, she is fluent in German, English, and Czech, and also speaks French and basic Spanish. Before transitioning into acting, Sara competed internationally in tennis. Her artistic path began in childhood with ballet and theater, including stage performances at Theater Ulm. She went on to study acting at Cours Florent in Munich, the Ivana Chubbuck Studio, and The Groundlings Theatre & School in Los Angeles. She also attended Antioch College, focusing on performance and storytelling within a liberal arts framework. A certified yoga teacher, Sara continues to explore movement through salsa, cabaret, and various dance styles that influence her expressive range as a performer. Sara made her on-screen debut as the lead in Rush (2024), followed by her first feature film, The Ghost Trap (2024). Her recent project was a supporting lead in the feature film Paradise Distubed (2025) alongside Holt McCallany. In addition to acting, she gained valuable behind-the-scenes experience by assisting a well-known actor on several major international productions, deepening her understanding of the film industry. Now based between Los Angeles and Europe, Sara is focused on building her acting career and is currently developing her first original screenplay.
