Renaud Baillet

My name is Renaud Baillet. I'm 36. I live in Montpellier in the South of France, but I am used to travelling to Paris, Marseille and all over the place to meet people in the cinema industry, attend castings and work on film sets as an actor of course!

I started acting in cinema 6 years ago when I moved here and like many people, I started with short films. I was lucky enough to meet two young directors, Florent Benigni and Jauffrey Gallé. I really love their work. Above all, meeting them was an important artistic encounter for me and I love their vision of cinema, as well as their social, human and political vision too. 

Before living in Montpellier, I was in South America, living in Columbia. I lived there for almost 6 years. I did a lot of things over there. I did theatre, wrote poetry, and I was selling chocolate truffles over there and travelling.

I speak Spanish fluently and English, and I am currently doing English coaching to act in English with excellent pronunciation. 

I regularly go climbing and when I have time, I go sailing. I am also passionate about music too, and so I play trumpet and do polyphonic singing in a choir.
