Nora Austin Murphy

Nora is a formally-trained film actor and filmmaker working in the EU and US. She may be recently recognized as a featured extra in Amazon Prime's "Blade Runner 2099" (2026) and as a "Thrillionaire" in a commercial spot for Fanduel (directed by Andreas Nilsson). She has won awards (best lead actress and best acting duo) at film festivals for her acting performances, and wrote, directed, and starred in her own short film called "Danni and the Sleep Monster." 

Nora's prestigious training as a ballet and modern dancer at Interlochen Arts Academy prepared her for the competitive nature of the arts industry. She studied under the biggest talents in modern dance at the Ailey School in NYC, but due to a foot injury, was forced to retire from dance. Nora returned to her home state of Vermont to study acting and filmmaking. Since graduating in 2020, Nora has maintained her acting technique by taking workshops with David Penn's Naked Face, The International Acting Studio, and Acting Horse. 

Her list of credits in small-budget independent films is long, including playing in several feature films. Nora is proud of the growth she has shown in her career and in her technique over the years and she is looking forward to bigger challenges coming her way ;-)

Outside of her work as an actor, Nora is a social media manager and content creator. In her free time, she enjoys shooting and editing photos and videos with friends and is currently taking lessons in Cuban salsa.
