About me

Matthew Ford is a passionate actor, known for his work alongside iconic figures of theater and cinema such as Robert Castle, Ariane Mnouchkine, Jean-Pierre Garnier and Michael Caine. He began his theatrical career by following rigorous and diversified training, notably with Robert Castle in 2022 and courses within the Captain's Company under the direction of Julien Masdoua. He also perfected his art at Cours Florent in Paris with Jean-Pierre Garnier and participated in workshops with the Footsbarn Traveling Theater, Michael Caine, and the Théâtre du Soleil directed by Ariane Mnouchkine.
 
On stage, Matthew has performed notable roles in notable productions. In 2024, he joined the Rome Castellucci troupe where he played in “BROS” and “Berenice”, sharing the stage with Isabelle Huppert. 
 
In addition to his work as an actor, he recently began teaching the Stanislavski method within the Manoir Theater Troupe, sharing his passion and expertise with the new generation of actors.
 
Gifted with special skills, Matthew is also an accomplished stuntman, a former rugby professional and a four-time French wrestling champion, adding a physical dimension to his stage performances.
