Mathieu Philibert

I was born und grew up France. I come from the southern part of Burgundy which is covered with vineyards and lies not far from Lyon. However, I always wanted to leave my "homeland" and dive into the unknown in order to discover other places, meet various people and learn new languages. 
In the last couple of years, I was mainly focussed on improving and polishing my German skills while acting. From 2020 to 2024, I studied acting in Freiburg im Breisgau in German only. I also had the opportunity to collect several life experiences in an international and intercultural context: I, for instance, completed a master's degree in "Theatre sciences and Interculturality" in several languages at the University of Luxembourg, and I got a 4-month-long internship in a German speaking theatre in Sibiu (Romania).
I don't want to be tied too much to one country or one language only. Indeed, I am more of an itinerant person or "a bird of passage". Where passionate artists call me to, I'll go and fly without any hesitation!
