About me

Louise Lemoine Torrès spent part of her childhood in Africa and Cambodia, starting in front of the camera with Etienne Périer’s La Garçonne alongside Marie Trintignant, and in the theatre in Laurence Jyl’s «Les Voisins du dessus» directed by Jacques Rosny and Daniel Dhubert.

On screen, we could see her under the French direction of Vincent Jamain, Etienne Périer, Éric Summer, Hervé Hadmar, Nicolas Herdt, Jean-Paul Lilienfeld, & also T.O.Kullan for Turkey, M.Tsuda for Japan, Saâd Chraïbi for Morocco, Richard Linklater for the USA.
On stage, she performs French classical authors : Molière, Racine, Corneille, Marivaux, Hugo, Giraudoux, Anouilh, and contemporaries from all different countries : Caldéron, Galiméri, Adel Hakim or Jacques Mougenot, in Paris, on tour, at the Avignon Festival, and notably at the Centre Dramatique National d'Ivry, Val de Marne, France.
She lends her voice to Emily Deschanel in the series «Bones», Sarah Paulson, Michaela Watkins, Rosemund Pike...

Her play «Les Codes-Barré.e.s», awarded by the Ministry of Culture, was broadcast on France Culture by Myron Meerson. From her collection of short stories «LaChair, among other widespread panic», she stages «La Chair» and with the complicity of the cartoonist William Henne, makes an animation film for ARTE, selected at the Césars.
