About me

Laura Weissbecker is a French-American actress with over 20 years of experience working across France, the United States, China, and Germany. She began her career in France, appearing in Cédric Klapisch's Russian Dolls and numerous French television productions, including Versailles, directed by Thierry Binisti, in which she portrayed Mlle de La Vallière.

In 2012, she was cast by Jackie Chan in the international feature Chinese Zodiac, where she played one of the leading roles in English. The film became a major box-office success in China, and her performance earned her the Huading Award for Best Emerging Actress in 2013.

She has since appeared in American productions, including Amazon's Mad Dogs. In 2020–2021, she co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in the feature film COVID-19 Ground Zero, which has received numerous awards at international film festivals.
