Julian Rohrmoser

Julian Rohrmoser was born in Vienna in 1999 into a theater family. He attended elementary school and academic high school in Innsbruck. From 2018 to 2021 he studied acting at the "filmacademy" bilingual acting school for theater and film in Vienna and at the same time he studied economics and social sciences at the WU Vienna. He has played several roles in the theater since his childhood: including Miki in “Das Fest” by Vinterberg/Rukov, directed by Michael Gampe, at the Tiroler Landestheater, or Klaus in “Furcht und Zittern” by Händl Klaus, directed by Elisabeth Gabriel, at the Waldviertler Hoftheater In 2021, Franz Huchel in “The Trafikant”, directed by Claus Tröger and at the Kobersdorf Castle Games in 2023, Alpanor/Andresel in “The Alpine King and the Misanthrope” by Ferdinand Raimund, directed by Michael Gampe. Since 2019 he has also appeared in film and television roles, including as David in the documentary "My Expensive Village of Mühlen", directed by Lisa Hintner (broadcast by RAI AND ORF), as Paul in the short film Tagada, directed by Zoe Schmidt, as Billy in the feature film "Present of the Past - Inside a Family" by Immanuel Degn (filming language: American) or in the series "4 mini-dramas "Theme, Lie and Truth" for FWU Munich, directed by Stefan Ludwig. He has been a directing student at the Max Reinhard Seminar since autumn 2023. He is very good at the piano and plays chess passionately.
