I am Jérémie Bédrune, actor and stage director. Originally from Castres, I discovered the joy of performing at an early age and chose to make it my profession. After training at the École d’art dramatique de Castres and the Académie Théâtrale de l’Union in Limoges, I joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris, where I had the opportunity to work with artists and teachers who greatly influenced my journey.
Since then, I have had the chance to perform both in classical plays and contemporary creations. Among the highlights of my career, I particularly recall The Game of Love and Chance by Marivaux, directed by Philippe Calvario, as well as Impasse des anges by Alain Gautré. Each production is, for me, an opportunity to discover a new language, a new universe, and to share with the audience that unique moment offered by live performance.
On screen, I have appeared in several short and feature films such as Foujita by Kôhei Oguri, Lost Illusions by Xavier Giannoli, Fais-moi plaisir by Emmanuel Mouret, and Le Roi des Belges by Pierre Mazingarbe. I particularly enjoy moving between theatre and cinema: two complementary arts that allow me to refine my acting and to find accuracy in very different registers.
A significant part of my work is also devoted to voice-over and dubbing. I have had the chance to lend my voice to a variety of animated and fictional characters, as well as to take part in the dubbing of major foreign series and films—a precise and attentive craft that greatly enriches me as an actor.
My career is built around a simple conviction: whether on stage, in front of a camera, or behind a microphone, the actor’s craft is, above all, about telling stories and creating a connection with those who listen. This passion is what guides and sustains me every day in my work.
