About me

2022: Jean-Philippe Renaud wins the prize for Best Solo Play at the Avignon Festival for his performance of NOTRE DERNIER VOYAGE, based on the novels by Bernard Giraudeau and directed by Marc Tourneboeuf.

2023: the graduate of the French theatre school Cours Florent (section: Acting in German) becomes a member of the ensemble of Alexis Michalik's EDMOND - a play that has been awarded five MOLIERES and is performed at the "Palais Royal" theatre in Paris.

Regular flights of fancy are inevitable for him, as Jean-Philippe works alongside his acting as an executive in the Franco-German aviation industry. His international background, combined with his love of the German language and culture, enables him to give convincing performances in French, English and German.

A multilingual Frenchman with a striking presence, he displays a wide range of emotions: be it in the portrayal of passionate leadership, power and strength or in the subtle embodiment of emotions and fragility.
