Born and raised in the northern neighborhoods of Marseille. Hannil Ghilas first started taking theatre classes at the age of eleven.
It has become more serious when he auditioned at sixteen for the "National Conservatory
Regional Influence Pierre Barbizet" in Marseille in which he got admitted.
Hannil Ghilas spent two years taking acting courses. Alwhile he began starring in french tv movie dramas such as "États d'urgence" starring french singer Olivia Ruiz, TV Shows (The intern season 6), movies (The stronghold dir by Cedric Jimenez) and short films.
In 2021, Hannil switched behind the camera and directed his first short film at nineteen which brought him the grand prize at the urban film festival but also many nominations around the world; (Colcoa film festival in Los Angeles, cinébanlieue in paris, the warsaw film festival, first filmmaker sessions of pinewood in the uk and may more).
Hannil is now writing, acting and directing new projects upcoming .
