After several feature films shot in the UK and India, two of which are now streaming on Netflix, I feel a growing need to reconnect with a cinema that speaks to my roots and my culture. While I’ve mostly performed in English until now, I’m drawn to the richness and intimacy of European cinema, and I’m excited to continue my journey as an actor here. That said, my heart remains open to American cinema, whose storytelling and energy have always inspired me.
