I am Geoffrey Carpiaux, son of fairground workers. I grew up in a family of alcoholics in Charleroi, Belgium, a post-industrial city where there is a lot of unemployment and all the associated problems. I have always dreamed of being an actor and embodying the roles of the people around me. It's only today that I realize that all the types of roles I want to play are actually facets of my father. I played sports throughout my adolescence because I was in a sports-study program. Mainly football, but I also did judo, fencing, and krav maga. After leaving school, I tried rap with some friends, we formed a group and did some scenes. After a few years of unemployment and wandering, I took on some jobs like bartender in a gaming hall, employee at a gas station, and then telephone advisor at a telecom provider. At 23, I decided to take theater and acting classes. This led me to INSAS in Brussels where I obtained a master's degree in drama alongside Meisner technique training that I have been following since 2016. I am now married and father of a mixed-race little girl. I also practice street theater, give acting classes, and also work in real estate. In addition, I am interested in well-being, the stock market, and cryptocurrencies.
