Frédéric Bocquet

About me

I was born in Brazil to French and Italian parents. Upon arriving in France as a child, I developed an awareness of languages and cultures.

My acting training, first at conservatories and then with the Meisner method and Voice Dialogue Incarnation, led me to theater, then television, and film stages.

Men who make mistakes are the roles I love to play. Embodying them allows me to bear witness to them without judging them morally. This fascinating paradoxical work combines the demands and rigor of embodiment with the simplicity and accuracy of humanity as a guidepost.

I recently performed Arthur Cravan, La Terrreur des Fauves (The Terror of the Wild Beasts), directed by Rémy Ricordeau.
