Franz Wüstenberg, born 1990 on the island of Usedom, works as an actor for stage and screen – with physical presence and energetic, grounded play.
He currently performs the lead role of Oscar Madison in Neil Simon's The Odd Couple at Theater Alte Turnhalle in Gernsbach, where the Badische Neueste Nachrichten praised his "outstanding acting performance." In 2025 he played the lead role of Ralf in Balkonszenen at Box Theater Köln, in 2024 Michel Houllié in God of Carnage at Theater Alte Turnhalle, and three roles in Joël Pommerat's The Reunification of the Two Koreas at Theater der Arturo.
He trained privately with Alexandra von Schwerin, Thomas Höhne and Claudia Maria Brinker, complemented by workshops at Theaterakademie Köln and improvisation classes with Jack Rehfuss.
Shaped by over ten years as a singer and frontman of his own bands – with live experience ranging from small clubs to festivals such as Wacken Open Air – Franz brings timing, audience instinct and physical confidence to his acting. Performance-ready on vocals, guitar and drums, as on various other instruments.
