Florence Branger

As a singer and chorister in a reggae band, Big & The Free Band, for twelve years we toured all the venues and festivals in France, recording albums, and it was during the Printemps de Bourges festival that I decided to pursue my childhood dream of "making films". So, at the age of 45, I enrolled at the Cours Florent in Paris to study drama and film. I directed my first short musical film, " Voice Over #1 ", which won the Florent Image prize at Femis. I went on to direct three other clips, " Voice Over #2, #3, #4 " with an actor from the Comédie Française, and a documentary on otherness, " Fanfan ". I have acted in feature films, shorts and series, as well as four short and medium-length films that are currently touring festivals. I have directed two plays. My Music Hall ", performed in Paris, a journey through the world of Parisian cabarets. And a play by Enzo Corman, " L'Autre ". During confinement, in 2020, I learn to write screenplays with professionals, and adapt Enzo Corman's play " L'Autre " into a feature film. I'm creating a series about a Parisian cabaret called " Montmartre Mon Amour ", which I'm currently seeking to produce. I've also made a number of short films, including " pH8.2 ", which is currently in the process of being turned into a comic strip for young people. I've also been a drama teacher in cinema at the Cours Florent in Paris since 2021. I propose a photographic & sound project "LOIV" denouncing the traumas linked to sexual violence from November 25, 2024 at Espace Beaujon, Paris 8eme.
