Fereshteh Marashi – Actress | 28 years old | Paris, France
I am Fereshteh Mirmarashi, a 28-year-old Iranian actress originally from southern Iran. After completing my diploma in graphic design and making brief appearances as a teenage actress on regional television and in local theater, I began my professional journey by studying theatre at the University of Art in Tehran.
Alongside my academic training, I completed beginner and advanced acting courses to strengthen my on-camera performance skills. My acting career started with short films and stage performances, later expanding to TV series and several feature films.
Driven by a constant desire to deepen my artistic and intellectual practice, I moved to France to continue my education. Following the events of the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement, I decided to stay in France with the hope of advancing my career to a point where I could support women from my country and be a voice for them internationally.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cinema, Aesthetics, and Media at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. My research project, titled “Role Change,” explores the evolution of women's roles in European society, literature, and cinema from the 18th and 19th centuries, with a comparative perspective on women’s conditions in the Middle East.
