Evilond Markhiev

A Belgian actor of Russian origin, I distinguish myself through a style that blends dramatic intensity with organic naturalness. Driven from a young age by the need to embody and share my craft, I began my training at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Mons, before continuing my studies in the drama program at the Royal Athenaeum.

After honing my stage experience between 2016 and 2018 with various theatre companies and collectives, I decided in 2025 to give my career a decidedly cinematic direction. I joined the Actor's Academy and attended masterclasses with Xavier Laurent, where I refined my on-camera acting technique and developed genuine emotional freedom.

2025 marked a significant rise in my work on film sets, with notable appearances in several projects:
I played a lead role in a short film directed by Mehdi Hocine.

I also played supporting roles in Clara Herbert's *Catharsis* and Mathias Jospin's *Wokistan*, as well as a small part in Olivier Pairoux's feature film *Vigilante*.

I am particularly drawn to complex, dark, or manipulative characters, which allow me to explore the shadowy areas of the human soul. My charisma naturally leads me to strong characters, while I also maintain a deep sensitivity for biopics and romantic narratives, where the authenticity of feeling takes precedence over artifice.

My multicultural background is one of my greatest strengths. Trilingual in French, Russian, and English, I have a natural affinity for international projects.

An accomplished athlete, I maintain my acting discipline through regular practice of tennis at a high level, boxing, swimming, and running. I am also a pianist, which adds a melodic and sensitive dimension to my artistic approach.
