Eric Godon is a self-taught Belgian actor.
After studying Germanic philology at the University, he worked in a variety of professions before embarking on an acting career in 2003 through improvi theater, shooting his first feature film at the age of 40.
A polyglot and versatile actor, he has been playing a wide range of characters in English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, German, French and Russian.
Since “In Bruges” (2008), he has been pursuing an international career : Aater Fishing without nets , an American indie film by Cutter Hodierne shot in Kenya, he played in the BBC mini-series The Missing (2014). In 2015, he starred in English and Russian alongside Sean Bean in Legends, (Fox 21). In 2016 he starred in The Halcyon, (BBC), in 2018 in Luc Besson's Anna, opposite Hellen Mirren, in The bastard son and the devil himself, a Netflix series, in 2021, as well as in several Italian feature films : Freaks out, Milano Calibro 9 and Diario di Spezie. In 2022 and 2023 he plays in the Finnish series Last to brake, the Swedish series Doktrinen - aka 8 months and in Great expectations (BBC). In 2024 he shot in Mexico in Gringo Hunters, a Mexican Netflix series.
In 2012, Éric Godon wrote and directed 3 short films: Rosa, Emma and Marguerite.
He is also a screenwriter, dialogue writer, script-doctor, translator and acting coach.
