Alexandra Barton

Alexandra Papoulias Barton is an actress and writer. Born and raised in Northern California, with a Greek and German background, she started performing at a young age in musical theater, international rhythmic gymnastics competitions, and dance. At 18 she decided to move to Paris for a history degree at the Sorbonne while pursing acting in French and German. She attended Acting International in Paris and additionally studied with Jack Waltzer. She speaks English, French, German, and Greek fluently. She plays in « Irma Vep, » an HBO series directed by Olivier Assayas, and the upcoming horror feature « the Substance, » written and directed by Coralie Fargeat. She also plays Rosie in "Witchy Ways," an independant rom-com feature about lesbian witches. "Paris is just a big dirty city" is the first film she wrote, starred in, produced, and co-directed with Zak Fishman.
