Artistic Vision:

„I always am searching for the human being in the human. Sounds easy, but it isn’t; because what I observe not only in myself is, that when hearing the expression ‘being human’ one tends to have a glorified image of what it means, the virtues and altruistic mannerisms but that’s just a fraction of being human. I believe that we all have contrary forces working in us. As an artist, on stage, on the screen, in the dramatic arts I’m not interested in the ‘nice’, I’m interested in the human conflict, the dilemmas, the tensions, the uncertainty, the insecurities, all created by opposing workforces, the intentions of love and hate, the good and the bad, the ugly and the beauty, short what I call as a whole: ‘humanity’.

I have an idealistic viewpoint on the human being. I strongly believe that we can be better than we often are, but it’s a long road to take; as individuals, same as society. We have choice! But I think only when we as individuals and as society start to integrate a full 360 degree view on ourselves, on our ‘humanity’. That’s what I’m out to seek as an artist and as an actor: to bring people in contact with their own humanity, because that’s the starting point for change. I cannot change the people, but I can go for at least trying to make them aware of themselves by telling stories, to give them something to identify with, something to mirror hidden qualities in them.

By now I’m that advanced and experienced in life that I have developed certain points of view and ideas of life, which aren’t written in stone of course; I’m always open for discovery, every day I’m learning, investigating life and human behavior, I never am finished because I always want to grow.„
