Ahlam Slama

An actress living in France for the past 15 years, I initially pursued studies in pharmacy. However, my deep passion for theater soon led me to the Actéon school. Afterward, I moved to Paris. In 2022, I had the opportunity to work with Ziad Doueiry on the series Cœurs noirs. Shortly after, I portrayed Myriam Badaoui in the docu-fiction L'Affaire d'Outreau (criminal case of pedophilia), broadcast on France 2. These roles have greatly enhanced my ability to portray complex dramatic characters. My collaboration with Nawell Madani on the series Jusqu'ici tout va bien  unveiled a comedic potential in me that I’m eager to develop further.
In theater, I played Yamina in the play De Nos Vieux by the Bonbon Beltz company, a successful bilingual production in French and Basque in the southern Basque Country. I had to learn Basque phrases!
I’m also involved in several street theater projects, where singing has become increasingly integral to my artistic practice. For instance, with La Fine Compagnie, I perform songs accompanied by sewing machines in a new creation. Additionally, in the show Zone Blanche by La Compagnie Playmobile, I create and sing my own music in Arabic. These experiences, both in street theater and in cultural initiatives, allow me to connect with individuals from diverse and enriching backgrounds, further expanding my acting repertoire.
Every summer, I take the wheel of the van to tour the Oise region with La Déambulle, a traveling and theatrical library. Bringing this unique experience to communities, setting up at the foot of buildings to offer shows and workshops, is a summer tradition that I hold dear. Lastly, I’ve resumed playing the piano by enrolling in the jazz piano conservatory. This year, I plan to join the orchestra, performing classics and perhaps even adapting some Algerian songs.
